Orchardists and other smallholders who are interested in the Angora rabbit wool industry will be pleased to learn that latest advice from England is distinctly encouraging, and New Zealand buyers operating on behalf of English mills handling this type of Wool are offering up to 30s per lb for the best grades (states the Napier Telegraph). A range of genuine Angora wool garments, which a Havelock North resident has specially indented from an English mill, has arrived, and the fine texture of the material, combined with a remarkable degree lof lightness and warmth, must make an appeal to those who appreciate the best in wearing apparel. Sir William Arbuthnot Lane, the eminent Harley Street specialist, after an examination and trial of garments spun by the new non-shedding process, expressed the opinion that they would prove a boon to invalids and people with any rheumatic tendencies.
