MOTOR VESSEL DELAYED

FOUR SEAMEN MISSING. (By Telegraph. Press Association.) WHANGAREI, Wednesday. The motor ship Port Waikato, which was to have sailed yesterday for Dargaville, was delayed until 7 a.m. to-day. When preparations were being made to clear port yesterday afternoon, it was found that four seamen were missing. Captain Watchlin delayed the vessel for some time, and then dropped down the river and berthed at the Onerahi wharf. The matter was placed in the hands of the police who speedily found the missing men at Hukerenui. They were brought back and placed aboard the ship.
