TE AWAMUTU STOCK SALE

Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd. report having held their usual tri-weekly stock sale at Te Awamutu on Thursday, as under: There was a fair yarding of all classes of stock, and competition was good at full late rates. We sold woolly hoggets at 325, aged shorn ewes 12s 3d, prime heavy bullocks up to £l7, others £ls 2s 6d, £l4 15s, and £l4 ss; fat heifers £9 15s, heavy cows £lO 17s 6d, medium weight fat cows £7 to £8 15s, very light cows £6 10s to £6 17s 6d, store cows £5 12s to £7 2s 6d, inferior £4 10s to £4 17s 6d, Jersey yearling heifers £7, small ditto £4 17s 6d. Store pigs sold at up to £2 7s, weaners up to 235, sows £2 16s. Bobby calves at current rates. Dairy heifers made up to £ll, bulls £3 10s to £6.
