VALUES IN KING COUNTRY. I SALE AT OTOROHANGA. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company reports: Our usual Otorohanga stock sale was held on Wednesday, when there was a good attendance of buyers, with competition keen, especially for store cattle. A fair yarding of pigs sold at current rates, weaners making 7s 6d to 12s 6d, store pig;-; 18s 6d, 245, 295, porkers 355. Bidding was keen for the few

sheep yarded, and shorn fat wethers made 29s to 80s, woolly 41s to 455, hoggets 33s 6d. Beef was penned in average numbers, fat builocks making !£l3 to £l4 15s, smaller bullocks £ll 10s, fat cows £8 lis to £9 12s, forward -conditioned cows £5 17s to £7 18s, lighter-conditioned £3 14s to £5. Yearling heifers were penned in good numbers, and were in keen demand; Jersey-cvbss made £6 5s to £6 15s. Shea-thorn £4 10s to £4 15s. Bulls sold well at from £5 to £t ss. There was ia good demand for dairy cows, a herd from Mr Bell, of Te Kawa, selling at £6 10s, £9, £ll 10s. Prices for other dairy cows ranged from £7 5s to £l2 ICs.
