TE AWAMUTU DAIRY CO.

SUBSTANTIAL GROWTH. Te Awamutu Co-operative Dairy Company, Ltd., manufactured 99 tons 17 cwt of butter during October, compared with 65 tons 6 cwt for the same month last year. The output for the five months of the season to date is 2281 i tons, compared with 141 h tons for the same period last year, an increase of 61 per cent. The amount of the monthly cash payment is £13,055, compared 'with £8273 for October last year, when the rate of advance was Is 4Jd per lb butten-fat. The total sum paid to suppliers for the five months of the season to date is £30,586, compared with £18,264 for the same time last year. The company's average butter grade for October was 92.48, and the factory is at present making 150 boxes of butter daily.
