If local motorists are perplexed over the new Government regulations it is to be sincerely hoped that it is only Dame Rumour which says that the local minion of the law intends, as a test for drivers whom he suspects of having lingered too long over the glass that cheers and inebriates, to ask the suspected ones to repeat in quick succession: Surely Susan should suit shy Sam.
