YOUTH’S SECOND LAPSE.

(By Telegraph—Press Association).

• DARGAYILLE, This Day. Cornelius Clune, aged 21, appeared at the Police Court this morning, charged with the theft at Frankton of £2 from a bedroom. Accused was arrested yesterday. He admitted the offence, pleaded guilty,, and asked that his name be suppressed. The presiding justices refused the request and said that although accused was a second offender it was not desired to send him to prison. A fine of £5 was imposed and accused ordered to make restitution.
