The Prime Minister's Office announced this afternoon that the Adr ministrator of Western Samoa, General Sir George Richardson, after taking the necessary steps required by the Samoan Amendment Act, 1927, had been authorised by the Governor-General-in-Council to require Olaf F. Nelson, Edwin William Gurr, and Arthur George Symth to depart from Western Samoa.

Nelson and Gurr are to remain absent for a period of five years and Smyth for two years. The necessary orders, made by the Administrator, were iserved upon the men named ta-day.
