CASE OF HECTOR GRAY. (By Telegraph. Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The Licencing Committee of the Racing Conference has decided that Hector Gray, whose penalty was reduced on Wednesday from disqualifition for life to suspension, can work in a stable and do riding work and take a horse on to the course on race days, but he must not enter the jockeys' room or birdcage at meetings. Five jockeys who rode in the hurdle race at Reefton and were suspended for 12 months applied to the Licensing Committee for the renewal of their licenses, but were all refused.
