Dahya was desirous of donating a silver cup for competition among senior teams. . ' Considerable discussion arose ovei various aspects, and eventuall££J|< was decided to accept’the trophy, hut that it be allotted to the-runners-up in the junior grade. It was also decided that future representative teams travelling be managed by a member of the executive. Mr S. Accounts amounting . to' £5 were passed for payment. It was decided to forward members tickets to Messrs S. H. West and D. Bockett, in appreciation for generous help to the sport of Rugby over a period of years.
An important subject for consideration at to-night’s meeting of the Chamber of Commerce is the hire purchase system, and an open invitation is exfended to all interested (w'hether members or not). , , , ’
