The deaths of three pioneers are reported. Thgy are Mrs Mary Smith, widow of Mr Wm. Smith, formerly a well-known baker, aged 90 years; Mr Thomas Brown, of Blue Spur, a /wellknown mjner of the early days, .aged 90 years: and Mr Henry William Sandle. of Stafford, a well-known storekeeper since the first days of the goiu rush, aged 85 years.
