(To 'the EUitor). ■ Sir, —You>r reply to my question of the 30th inst., re ratepayers being allowed to vote upon the unimproved valuation question if rate's were unpaid, seemed to my mind obscure. Fpr tile benefit of your headers in general and the Te Awamutu ratepayers in particular, I have ascertained from the town clerk, wfio is also returning officer, that all ratepayers, whether in arrears with /rates or not, are entitled to vote upon both questions to be submitted to them on Wednesday next, 3lrd November. —I am, etc., U J.
