NEW HOSPITAL
FIVE IN CANTERBURY. ('3y Telegraph. Press Association.) CHRISTCHURGHi, Monday. A period of considerable Activity has been 'entered 1 upon in regard to the erection of new hospitals in the North • Canterbury district. In addition to the new St. George's Hospital, which is being erected .under the auspices of the Church oi' England, and extensions being carried out at the Lewisham Hospital, the North Canterbury Hospital Boadd has' decided on the provision of five new country maternity hospitals in its dis? .trict. These will be situated at the Chatham. Islands, LittJle River, Lincoln, Datrfielji, and] Cheviot.
