On Thursday evening the Kihikihi and Puahue teams competing for the Cribbage Club challenge shield played a match at Puahue, results being as follow, Puahue players being named first in each instance:— Pretty and Park 6, Rigg and Crook 5; Harris and T. Halstie 8, Wilson and Cochrane 3; Campbell and, Deed 3, Ashby and White 3; Stratton and Ferguson 4, A. Anderson and Fowlie 4; Cooper and/ W. Has tie 5, Maunder and J. Anderson 5: Long and Pieroey 4, Stewart and Bartlett 7; T. Moisley and J. 'Hastie 4, Vemer and James 6; Hastie and Holden 3, Thomson andW Hain'es 8; totals, Puahue 37; Kihikihi 41.
