MOTORING ACCIDENT
A KIO SIO FARMER INJURED.. An accident occurred on 'the Te Awamutu-Kihikihi Road at about 5.30 o'clock on Saturday last, resulting in. a man named John Parker, of Kio Kio, sustaining a fractured skull and other head injuries. It appears that a car containing aparty from Kio Kio—Arthur H. White (driven). John F. Parker, and the.letter's two sons, John and David,—left Te Awamutu, and when about 1| miles on their way the dlriver edged off the road to allow another oar to pass, just at a slight bend in the road. In leaving the metal 'the outside wheels of the car went down in the water channel and could not get oult. Wth the result that the car went straight ahead about thirty feet, when it crashed into a telegranh nbst. John Parker, senior, was 'thrown hard against Lie post, and when picked up was found to be suffering from ihead injuries: while the other members of the party were less damaged. The car, as may be suppose!, was badlv wrecked. ___
