TE AWAMUTU ELECTRIC POWER BOARD. is hereby given that the Te Awamutu Electric Power : Board proposes to raise a Special Loan under the provisions of "The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1913." The purpose for which the Loan is required is the .erection of transmission lines, transformer stations, and other fittings andi appliances for transmitting and distributing electricity in ithe Te Awamutu Electric Power District and the equipping of sujch transmission lines and'existing transmission lines with safety devices and static condensers, including the purchase of all necessary land, equipment, material, plant and tools, and all payments for labour, engineer's fees, plans and supervision. The sum proposed to be borrowed is £25,000. The proposed security i's a Special Rate of One-seventh of a Penny in the Pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the Capital Value) of all rateable property in the Te Awamutu Electric Power District. It is proposed that the loan shall be payable in 36J years, with interest et 5i per centum per annum and! that repayment shall be provided for by the establishment of a Sinking Fund of One per centum per annujm on the sum. proposed to be borrowed. It. is proposed to pay out of the Loan the cost of 'raising the Loan and the first year's interest and sinking fund of the Loan during the construction of any works for which the Loan is raised.
