(By Telegraph. —Press Association.) GHRISTCHIURCHy Wednesday. The Christehurchi Fire Board lalst night carried the following resolution: "That this Board emlphatically protests against the proposal in the Bill to reduce the personnel of fire boards to five members, as this alteration will give the Government one-fifth of the voting power, when the Government contributes only £3OO, which, in the case of this Board,, represents .approximately only of the annual expenditure of the Board."
