MONEY FIROM CASH REGISTER

MARTON, Friday.

The second burglary within three days occurred when Kiernan’s butchery, Marton Junction, was broken into. The cash register was smashed and about £2 stolen. The shop stands in an isolated position, and has only recently been occupied by the present proprietor.

CASE AT ASHBURTON. ASHBURTON, Friday.

The second burglary Avithin a week took place at Alan Wilson .and Company’s shop, whe're thieves forced back a Avindow, taking £2 10s from a coat hanging in the shop, 3s from the till and a small quantity of cigarettes.
