CYCLIST FALLS INTO SEA

PLUCKY RESCUE EFFECTED.

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) TAURANGA, Monday.

A plucky rescue was effected yesterday by Captain (Wells, of the Northern Company’s vessel Tuhoe. A youth, while cycling on the town wharf, fell, with bis machine, between the wharf and the Tuhoe. Captain Wells immediately sprang from the Tuhoe into the water, fully clothed. Tflie tide was running swiftly, but be secured the youth who, with the aid of persons of the wharf, wais pulled up safely. The bicycle was recovered, later with grappling irons.
