ANOTHER MOTOR ACCIDENT

HAMILTON, Monday,
When returning home from a picture show and dance which he had attended at Te Kauwhata on Saturday evening, a Maori, Gribrge Porangi, aged 26, was run over by a motor bus, receiving injuries from which he died shortly afterwards; :
The accident 'took place on the Te Kauwhata-Waerenga Road in the early hours of Supd,ay. morning. The bus was driven, by Mr 'Herbert Teddy, ' of Waerenga, and was conveying from the entertainment to their homes at Waerenga, 17 passengers, including the deceased.
It appears that The vehicle was stopped to allow Porangi to alight. The bus then restarted on its'journey and Porangi apparently ran after it and attempted to jump on board again. He Islipped and fell, the rear back whee.l of the bus passing over his body. Porangi was hastily'removed to Huntiy for medical but expired as he arrived there, ,'The. deceased, was a. married man .and '-had two children.
