KING COUNTRY APPLES

200 CASES FOR CHINA,

It is increasingly evident that there are great possibilities in New Zealand for an export fruit trade. The exports of apples this year are likely to constitute a record, and fairly good prices are being obtained overseas for the New'Zealand, product. An interesting, phase of this matter was brought under our notice this morning, ’When we were informed that Mr- R. M. Ormsby had received an order for 200 cases of apples to be forwarded to China. Mr Joe Hoe received a cable on Thursday from China for this quantity, and placed the order with Mr Ormsby. These apples will be specially packed and interest will be attached to this shipment, as it is quite likely that an increased order will be forthcoming from thVsame source next year.— Chronicle.
