The complete stud Friesian herd of Mr H. R. Green at Oakview, Kairanga, has been sold to the Litchenstein, Arnoldsen Company, Auckland, (according to a Press message) and will be used to stock a large property owned by tib-e firm near Lake Rotoiti. This herd, is undoubtedly one of the best known and most successful in the Southern Hemisphere. Many wonderful record-breakers have been bred in it, including Rosa Posch of Oakview, with 7181bs. tutterfat as a junior two-year-old, and Jessa Monona Johanna of Oakview. with 7271b5. as a junior two-year-old. Twelve members of the herd under semi-official test averaged 7391b5. butterfat. Mr Donald Green's imported bull. Bell Farm Echo Sylvia Trojan, was sold to the same purchasers.
