LAND DRAINAGE DISTRICT
NEW KING COUNTRY BOARD. (By Telegraph. Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Friday. Following the report of a commission that the land drainage district of Mangapu be constituted in the Otorohanga and Waitomo counties, an order-in-council is issued constituting the district in the manner recommended by the commission. The district shall be divided into three sub-divisions, to 'be called respectively the Northern subdivision, the Mangaokewa Sub-division, and the Mangapu sub-division. A board of trustees of the district, to consist of six 'persons to be elected, will be composed of one member for the northern sub-division, two members for the Mangaokewa sub-division, and three members for the Mangapu sub-division.
