You CAN Give Prohibition a Trial / The Prohibition Party asked the late Mr. Massey, have asked Mr. Coates, and will ask the new Government to ensure to the people an opportunity to vote again after prohibition has had a fair trial. Any Parliament can alter any law in N.Z. if the people want it altered. The liquor interests are asking Parliament to alter the present law of 3-year polls so as to make it nine years during which the traffic cannot be touched. They are afraid of the people s vote.
