SOLDIER SETTLERS

RE-VALUATION OF HOLDINGS. (By Telegraph. Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Wednesday. The annual report on discharged soldiers' settlement, presented to Parliament yesterday, contains a report by the chairman of the Dominion Re-valu-ation Board (Mr J. B. Thompson) on the task, now completed, of re-valuing soldier settlement holdings throughout New Zealand.

Itis stated that no case was disposed of without much deliberation and inquiry, and that all possible means of investigation were used. It is claimed that as a result of the Board's attitude a far better understanding with the soldier settlers 'has been arrived at.
