INTER-CLUB MATCH AT PUAHUE.
Over a score of Te Awamutu Cribbage Club players journeyed out tc Puahue last evening to play an inter club match with the representatives of the Puahue Club. The meeting proved most enjoyable, and while some of the contests were close throughout, one or two others were “high, wide and sharp.” At the conclusion of play it was announced that Pijahue had won the aggregate by a handsome majority, the scores being: ItKahue 73, Te Awamutu 58. The announcement Vas received with applause, and after a tasty supper congratulations to the winners were expressed for Te Awamutu by Mr F. H. Vile, president. In doing so he announced that a challenge shield had been offered for inter dub contests, and he understood Kihikihi had decided to enter the lists.
