RECENT SHEEP EAIRS,
Messrs Dalgety and Company report Slaving held sheep fairs at Waingaro, Ngaruawahia, Oliaupo, and sales at Morrinsville and Cambridge, when they yarded a total of 23,000 sheep of all classes. The demand was good, and practically a total clearance was effected at the following rates: Wellgrown 2-tooth ewes 36s to 36s Bdo, small ditto 28s to 325, good Romneyskinned 4-tooth ewes 40s, 395, 375, mixed-aged 2,4, and 6-tooth ewes to 36s and 34s 9d, choice ‘quality goodframed 4-year-old ewes 28s 6d to 33s ■6d, inferior 23s to 335, store aged ewes 10s to 21s, good 2-tooth wethers 31s to 335, medium-sized 4-tooth wethers 28s 6d to 30s 6d, 4 and 6-tooth wethers 33s 6d to 365, shorn Romney mixed-sex lambs well grown 19s to 235, medium ditto 15s 6d to l 4 Ss 6d, small and cull sorts 10s to 13s 9d, black-faced woolly lambs 20s to 23s 6d, medium ditto 16s 6d to 19s, small 11s to 13s 6d,
