A LONG VOYAGE
BARQUE TAKES 145 DAYS FROM FRANCE. (By Telegraph. Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Friday. A long and monotonous voyage was ended to-day by the Norwegian barque Ariel, of 796 tons., which arrived in the harbour from Marseilles. Captain Knugsen reported that the vessel had cleared Marseilles ,on September 21 last, and had met' with fine weather to New Zealand.' She arrived in the vicinity of the six weeks ago, and has beeS consistently delayed in making port 5 ny adverse winds and calms. • J-; *
