FIRE AT TAMAHERE

SEVEN ROOMED HOUSE BURNED

(By Telegraph. Press Association.) HAMILTON, Wednesday.

Fire yesterday afternoon completely destroyed a seven-roomed house at Tamahere belonging to Mr A. Main and occupied by Mr and Mrs Buckingham and Mr and Mrs Moran. The former were absent at Tauwhare at the time of the outbreak and the latter are spending a holiday in Christchurch. The building was a very old one. The cause of the outbreak is unknown. It is understood both house and furniture are insured.
