KIHIKIHI RABBIT BOARD

MONTHLY MEETING.

The usual monthly meeting of the Kihikihi Rabbit Board was held at Te Awamutu last Saturday, Mr T. Hastings presiding. Other members present were Messrs S. Byrant, R. G. Brotherwood, G. B. Melrose, T. Raine, L. Eyre and E. G. Humphrey. . The returning officer reported that as Mr Bryant’s nomination was the only one. received for the vacancy caused by the resignation of Mr J. Corboy, Mr Bryant had been declared duly elected. It was decided that as the dry weather is approaching the rabbiters be granted leave of absence for the purpose of harvesting at the discretion of the foreman rabbiter. After a discussion re the financial position, it was decided that all accounts outstanding for three months or over be placed in the hands of the Board’s solicitor fo-r 0011601100. Accounts amounting to £73 18s were passed for payment.
