WAIKATO MARKET REPORT.

The Farmers' Co-operative Auctioneering Co., Ltd., report:—

Beef: The market continues • firm for prime steer and cow beef, with good yardings and prices if anything, a little firmer.

Sheep: Fat shorn sheep are now coming forward in good numbers and meeting'with ready sale at firm prices, with a tendency to still improve. Store Cattle: The yardings have Ibeen big of mostly dairy heifers, the isupply being more than the demand with prices for this class somewhat easier; store cows have been in demand, also all classes of steers are finding ready sale at good money. Lambs: Exporters are offering up to lOfd for November delivery. * Store Sheep: There is still a good inquiry for all classes of stores; ewes with lambs and 2 and 4-tooth wethers changing hands at high prices with not a great number offering. Dairy Cattle: We have about come to,the tail end of the dairies, with little inquiry for this class. Pigs: Fat pigs and porkers are in demand at about 51 d to 6d, with good yardings; also, a very keen demand •exists for all classes of stores. Horses: Good heavy draughts and tjseful farm horses are finding ready sale, with little demand for light animals.
