LONDON REPORT. a The New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board has received the following message by cable from its London office, dated 11th January, 1924, advising the Smithfield delivered that date as follows: New Zealand wethers and maidßp, Canterbury quality, selected branoß; 56 lbs and under, 57 to 64 to 72 lbs, all not quoted; other brands 56 lbs and under B|d per lb, 57 to 64 lbs Sd per lb, 65 to 72 lbs 7id. New Zealand ewes: 64 lbs and under, 7d per lb. New Zealand lamb, Canterbury quality: 36 lbs and under 11 Jd per lb, 37 to 42 lbs lOgd per lb, 43 to 50 lbs 9£d per lb; seconds, lOd per lb. Other brands: First quality, 42 lbs and under 9gd per lb, seconds 9id per lb. New Zealand beef: Ox fores 3gd per lb, ox hinds 4d per lb, cow fores 3d per lb, cow hinds 31d per lb. Argentine chilled beef: Ox fores 3id per lb, ox hinds sgd per lb Argentine frozen beef: Ox fores 3id per lb, ox hinds 4Jd pe rib. Mutton: There is a firmer tendency owing to shortage of supplies.
