KILLED IN THE BUSH.
MAN CRUSHED BY A LOG.
(By Telegraph. Press Association.) THAMES, Friday.
A fatal accident occurred at the Kauri Timber Company's bush at Kattaeranga this morning. Malcolm Austin, aged 30 years, was jacking a log when it rolled over, crushing his head against another log. The body was brought here by train. An inquest took place this evening. It is believed the deceased had relatives in Whangarei.
