ALLEGED "RINGING IN."

GORE STAKE WITHHELD, PENDING CLUB INQUIRY. (By Telegraph. Press Association.) GORE, This Day. In connection with the trotting sensations it is interesting to recall that the horse Kingsdale, in the name of W. Cameron, won the Balfour Trot Handicap at the Gore spring meeting, paying a good dividend. Later the owner communicated with the club to the effect that he had heard the horse described as a ringer-in, and stating he was quite wiMing to produce the horse for inquiry by the Racing Club. The committee decided to hold over payment of the stakes till the club is advised of the result of inquiries made by the Trotting Association. The stake is still held up.
