QN 22nd, 24th December, and 2nd January the usual 7.0 a.m. TaumI arunui-Frankton . train will , run 1 through to Auckland, and the usual 1.45 p.m. Frankton-Taumarunui train will run through from Auckland, leaving Auckland 10.12 a.m., Frankton 2.0 , p.m. and arriving Taumarunui 7.8 I p.m. On 26th December and Ist JanI uary the usual 4.30 p.m. Te KuitiFrankton train will not run. On Christmas Day the only trains running (in addition to the express trains) between Taumarunui and Frankton will be the 7.0 a.m. Taum-arunui-Frankton and the 1.45 p.m. Frankton-Taumarunui. Goods traffic will be suspended and Goods Sheds closed on 25th and 26th December and Ist and 2nd January. For further particulars see booklets obtainable free at stations. 356 Public Notices. Garden hoses may only be used while a person holds them. Taps must not on any account be left running. The Council's inspectors will make frequent visits to various parts of the Borough to see that the By-laws are observed; and prosecutions will be instituted against offenders. Consumers in the outer area are being deprived of ordinary domestic supply owing to the extravagant waste by consumers in the more congested areas. { '■ D.
