WELLINGTON, Wednesday.

The Labour Department has consented to apply to the Arbitration Court for judgment as to whether employers are liable to pay w a ses to apprentices while the latter are in military camps this month and February. The Department contends that wages must be paid, as no award provision exists to the contrary.
