EARLY MORNING TRAIN.

ADJUSTMENT IN TIME-TABLE. For some considerable time there has been an agitation for an extra morning train from Frankton to Auckland, and as previously stated arrangements have been made by the Railway Department to make a trial with a morning Waikato express. This train will leave Frankton Junction on Mondays to Fridays inclusive at 7 a.m., stopping at all stations between Frankton and Mercer, with the exception, of Kimihia, and thence stopping at Pokeno, Tuakau, Pukekohe, Papakura, Otahuhu and Newmarket, and arriving at Auckland at 11.2 a.m. Passengers using this train will be able to return by the ordinary 4 p.m. train from Auckland which is being accelerated to arrive at Frankton Junction at 8.25 p.m., a saving of 45 minutes on the present running.

The usual separation of the Thames and Rotorua expresses will also come into force with the new time table. The Thames express will leave Auckland at 9.12 a.m., arriving at Frankton at 12.35 p.m., and Thames at 4.55 p.m. The corresponding train from Thames will leave at 9.21 a.m., reaching Frankton at 1.20 p.m., and Auckland at 4.58 p.m. The Rotorua express will leave Auckland at 10.5 a.m., arriving at Frankton at 1.6 p.m., and Rotorua at 5.34 p.m. The up train will leave Rotorua at 9 a.m., arriving at Frankton at 12.45 p.m., and Auckland at 4.10 p.m.
