ENTERTAINMENTS.

"THE DELICIOUS LITTLE DEVIL." WEDNESDAY NIGHT. That delightful little star, Mae Murray has one of those radiant personalities that seems to leap from the screen. In "The Delicious Little Devil" at the Empire Theatre on Wednesday night she plays a part that offers her the fullest scope for her dancing ability and the way the former Follies' star glides across the waxed floor is a show in itself. Of interest also is the appearance of Kodolph Valentino in the role of a youns man about town, who is madly in love with Gloria de Moyne, the Cabaret dancer with the Parisian reputation. "The Delicious Little Devil" tells the efforts of a fair young colleen to live up to an assumed role of wickedness. She hates to do it but bread and butter, with a few trimmin's are dependent thereon. On the strength of her wild reputation she becomes the rage of one of the wildest roadhouses around New York and has the men at her feet in droves. Of them all she prefers young Jimmie Calhoun (Rodolph Valentino) and finallv decides he is the man of men for her. She tries to tell him that her reputation is assumed, but fate always Intervenes to keep him in ignorance. Jimmie is in the same fix. He loves her but fears to enrust his future happiness to such a little vamp. The climax comes in the midst of all these snarls and. of course, everything is straightened out as it should be.
