SENSATION AT NAPIER.

BUSINESS MAN'S CRIME. (By Telegraph. Press Association.) NAPIER, Friday. Gerald Leonard Knowles, managing director of G. L. Knowles Ltd., pleaded guilty before Mr Dyer, S.M., to-day to six charges of forgery and false pretences, and was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence. Three other similar charges are being heard. The money involved in the first charges amounts to over £IOOO.
