ARBITRATION COURT.

SITTING IN AUCKLAND. AUCKLAND, Friday. The Arbitration Court sat at the Supreme Court to-day, when fixtures for next week were made. His Honor Mr Justice Frazer presided, and with him were Messrs W. Scott (employers' representative) and H. Hunter (the workers' representative). The Auckland sitting will extend over next week, and the Court will go to Gisborne on Monday, October Bth, and then proceed, via Napier and Wellington, to Dunedin, where it is due on October 23rd. A complaint was made by Mr Bartram that there was an insufficiency of copies of awards available for unions. His Honor pointed out that if, at the time awards were made, secretaries would inform the printing office of the number of copies required, the number above the quantity given free could be obtained practically for the price of the paper. It was a different proposition, however, to ask for copies after the type had been broken up. "The coalminers have troubles of their own just now; there is no use adding to their burdens," remarked his Honor, in deciding that Pukemiro colliery should be added as parties to the sand and cement employees' award only in respect of their town depots. After agreeing to add certain parties to various awards the Court adjourned.
