Public Notices. AUCKLAND FARMERS' FREEZING COMPANY, LTD. SLAUGHTERING FOR EXPORT. The Southdown Works are open and available for the slaughter of stock for export. Farmers may either ship their stock through the Company on their own account or sell "on the hooks" to export buyers. The Company is prepared to make reasonable advances against consignments. MANURES. Our mixtures are available to all, whether shareholders or not, at reduced prices:— Al SPEClAL—Contains bonedust, flesh and blood, super, and potash. A2 SPEClAL—Practically the same as Al, but without potash. Both splendid mixtures for laying down or top-dressing grass or for grain, potatoes, carrots, rape and similar crops. B SPEClAL—Contains bonedust, flesh and blood, super, and 20 per cent ground rock phosphate. An excellent mixture for grass, oats, turnips, etc.
CATTLE FOR BOILING DOWN. Until further notice the Company will pay the lolloping prices for Cattle for boiling down purposes:— Steer.-; and Cows, first grade, 3s 6d per 100 lbs on hooks. Steers and Cows, second grade, 2s (Jd per 1.00 lbs on hooks. Bulls, all grades. Is fid per 100 lbs on hooks. The owner will require to deliver the cattle at the works, Horotiu or Southdown, his expenses ceasing on delivery. The carcase, including the tongue, tail, and fat, will become the property of the Company, but the owner will receive credit for the value of th« hide when sold.
