CLAIM AGAINST SHIPPING COMPANY. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. At the Arbitration Court the widow of Walter Person claimed £652 as damages from the Xew Zealand Shipping Co. on account of the death of her husband, a waterside worker, who, it was alleged, was injured by a sling of timber on one of defendant's steamers. The point in dispute was whether the accident really set up a condition of health which eventually caused death. Decision was reserved.
