CHEMICAL FACTORY FIRE.
(By Telegraph. Press Association.) AUCKLAND. Wednesday. /. serious lire occurred about half pasi. eight this morning- at the top of X vgop st-eet. when the premises of Mr W H. Harvey, chemical manufacturer. were gutted. The City Fire Brigade wore summoned to the spot by telephone, but were unable to extinguish the outbreak before extensive damage had been done. The cause of the fire was the explosion of a case of methylated spirits. The contents of the building were insured in the Phoenix Office for £450. and the building in the London and Lawe.anfF'" 72G*».
