ATTEMPT ON A SAFE. (By Telegraph. Press Association.) TAUMARUNTJI, Monday. An attempt to break open a safe in Ellis and Rurnand's office at Manumii was ma.de early on Sunday morning. Burglars forced entrance through a window and a large safe, usually in the corner of the oilice, was found in tht middle of the room will; bo'h handles broken. Apparently the intruders were disturbed, as they did not finish their work.
