As a sequel to recent burglaries ir, the city, a ship’s steward named William James Mcßain, aged 23. was today committed to the Supreme Court for sentence on 13 charges of breaking and entering and theft, and one count of receiving stolen goods. The amount involved was £575, of which goods to the value of £550 had been recovered. Accused, who pleaded guilty, had-given the police every assistance.
