The Southdown Works are open and available for the slaughter of stock for export. Farmers may either ship their stock through the Company on their own account or sell “on the hooks ” to export buyers. The Company is prepared to make reasonable advances against consignments. The owner will require to deliver the cattle at the works, Horotiu or Southdown, his expenses ceasing on delivery. The carcase, including the tongue, tail, and fat, will become the property of the Company, but the owner will receive credit for the value of the hide when sold.
