DROWNING FATALITY.
THE BODY RECOVERED. (By Telegmnb. Press Association.) DUNEDIN, Monday. Thomas Gordon, aged 20. single, living in Mornington. was drowned near Waitati yesterday. Accompanied by two youths named Clark, he attempted to swim the channel to the Warrington side. The ("larks, on landing, saw Gordon, when threequarters of the way over, throw up his arms and disappear. They swam out, but tailed to find him. The body was recovered later. Gordon's parents were on holiday in Auckland.
