THEFT OF GOODS.
IMPRISONMENT ORDERED
(By Telegraph. Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day.
Henry George Walmsley.was charged in the Magistrate's Court to-day with false pretences and retaining £5 and £2 sent to him as bonds by two unsuccesful applicants for positions as travellers. Accused was sentenced to three months' imprisonment on the first charge and 14 days' on the second, concurrent.
