MEAT EXPORT CONTROL.

FARMERS ON THE BOARD

(By Telegraph. Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Friday.

Regulations under the Meat Export Control Act, passed last session, are gazetted. They provide for the appointment of representatives on the New Zealand Meat Producers' Board of Control. Inter alia, the regulations appoint as selectors of such representatives the following meat producers' committee elected at the conference held in Wellington last month: —

North Island: Messrs T. A. Duncan (Hunterville), Mr A. E. Harding (Dargaville), J. S. Jessup (Wairoa), G. V. Pearce (Kakaramea), W. Perry (Masterton), W. J. Poison (Fordell), H. B. Williams (Gisborne). South Island: Messirs J. Begg (Dunedin), E. Bower (Gore), E. P. H. Burbury (Waiau), J. 0. Coop (Little River), J. C. N. Grigg (Ashburton). A. J. Murray (Kekerangu), D. G. Wright (Ashburton). Also the members of the Parliamentary Advisory Committee: Messrs J. Bitchener (Waitaki), W. S. Glenn (Rangitikei), A. Hamilton (Wallace), 0. J. Hawken (Egmont), D. Jones (Kaiapoi), and A. D. McLeod (Wairarapa). The election is to be held at Wellington at a date to be fixed by the Minister of Agriculture.
