CLAIM AGAINST ATTORNEY.

SECOND TRIAL ORDERED. (By Telegraph. Press Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, Friday, tin the Supreme Court a jury, after 41 hours' retirement, reported that it had reached no decision in a case in which W. F. Spence, farmer, of Awakino, claimed £250 damages from A. C. Pease, farmer, of Mangatoki. It was alleged that Pease, who acted as Spencer's attorney during the 'latter's absence at the war, was negligent in the management of plaintiff's farm; that some of the land had reverted to second growth; and that losses had been caused through failure to sell stock at certain times. Hearing extended over 3| days. On the application of plaintiff's counsel a new trial was ordered.
